Welcome to the first instalment of our “Meet the Team” series. Starting with our Managing Director, Mostafa.
Mostafa is the boss! He started Innovatious in 2015, largely as a one-man band, but this became the brand name of our new company in 2023.
Well known in the world of rail, with nearly a decade at ATOC before it became RDG and before that, years working on the Oyster Prestige system.
Since he went freelance, he has had several long-term clients including Transport for Wales, Merseyrail and Transport Scotland in the UK – he is a member of Scotland’s National Smart Ticketing Advisory Board (NSTAB). Overseas, he has been a constant advisor to Metrolinx in Toronto as they have re-procured a multi-billion dollar smart ticketing system for their seven million residents and many visitors.
Outside work, Mostafa is a family man with two teenage children. His wife Rasma is also a member of the Innovatious team. Mostafa is proud of his green credentials, sporting an electric car and bikes. Rasma and he recently went on Umrah pilgrimage to Saudi Arabia, hence his impressively short hair cut and serene aura!
